Closing the Teach For America Blogging Gap
Jun 13 2010

“Houston, we have one less problem!”

Holy moly, packing for five weeks was a lot harder than I imagined. I’m crossing my fingers and hoping that my suitcase is less than 50lbs. I failed miserably at trying to cram my printer into my carry-on. I have to leave it behind and hope that the computer and printing labs at Rice University will suffice.
I am probably going to remember some I forgot mid-flight later today. My flight is in eight hours (gulp). Thankfully there is a one hour lay over so I can finish my pre-institute work. I know, I know, shame on me, it should have been done…
Hopefully the procrastination ends there…well, it has to. Thumbs down to procrastinating teachers.
Houston, here I come. I think I’m ready for ya, so you better be ready for the influx of 2010 CMs.
And now for the tricky part…getting some sleep. I better enjoy it while I can. Goodnight.
